When the Forest Pauses for a Tiger

There are moments in Corbett when time simply stops.

On one such winter morning safari, three gypsies stood still on the dusty trail, cameras ready, whispers fading into silence. And then he appeared. A majestic tiger, calm and confident, walking straight down the path as if the forest belonged to him — because it does.

From my previous blogs, many of you know how deeply I connect with the wild. Whether it’s chasing dragonflies with my macro lens or waiting patiently for that perfect wildlife frame, nature teaches stillness. This sighting reminded me of something I often share on my Facebook page — the jungle rewards patience.

No roar. No rush. Just eye contact, power, and grace.

At Corbett Dragonfly Homes, I always tell my guests: safaris are not about ticking a box. They are about feeling the forest breathe. And sometimes, if you are lucky, the forest lets you witness royalty up close.

Moments like these are not just sightings — they become stories you carry forever.
