Stripes in the Water

A tiger walking through water is poetry in motion.

This beautiful sight — a big cat crossing the river with effortless strength — reflects the true spirit of Corbett. Calm on the surface, powerful underneath. Watching him move through the cold stream reminded me why I fell in love with wildlife photography in the first place.

As I often write on my Facebook page, every frame in nature has emotion. The ripples in the water, the reflection of stripes, the quiet focus in his eyes — nothing is hurried in the jungle. It unfolds naturally.

In my earlier blogs, I’ve shared how patience brings the best rewards. This moment was another reminder. No noise, no drama. Just a tiger claiming his space.

For guests staying at Corbett Dragonfly Homes, I always suggest: don’t just look for the tiger, observe the details — the forest sounds, the light, the movement. Because sometimes, the most magical part is not just spotting him, but witnessing how beautifully he belongs to the wild.
